Nominator's project description

Professor Sasamori is well known internationally for his outstanding research in the synthesis of molecular organoelement compounds, especially of silicon and phosphorus. He has made important contributions in low-coordinated dimetallenes, analogs of benzene and naphthalene incorporating heavy tetrel elements and phosphorus-containing radialenes. During his stay in Germany, he intends to develop a synthetic approach to phosphinidenes and novel types of silicon- and phosphorus-containing hetero-allenes.
